⚡️ Tracking Wildfires for The Associated Press with Maplibre and the ESRI API by Caleb Diehl

Millions of readers rely on the Associated Press's wildfire tracker to get live information about large wildfires across the United States. I am a data visualization developer at the AP and will go over some design, architecture, and data viz decisions we made during a major UI overhaul (which goes live at the end of June). I'll discuss how attendees can build similar interactive maps in React / TypeScript using the same free, open-source mapping libraries and APIs.
